Collection contains records of the Douglas County Forum on Children and the Family (1993-1996). The records detail the planning and coordination of these annual forums. Included are publicity and financial records, as well as numerous free handouts offered at each forum. The purpose of these forums was to inform and educate Douglas County residents on familial matters. Topics for discussion included teen violence, single parenting, and maintaining the quality of life despite the massive population growth in Douglas County throughout the early 1990s. Collection donated by Cindy Murphy, a member of the planning board for the Forum.
